Vicki Vasil is a writer and marketer who hails from New York, and has lived in several cities since, until putting down roots in Portland, Oregon last year. After securing her bachelor's degree in copywriting from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University, Vicki worked for ad agencies in New York City before heading to grad school to get her master's in sports management. Merging her creative background with her affinities, Vicki has since built her career both on the brand and agency side for a wide range of industries, most notably in action sports. She is a nurturer of brands, a sharp marketer and a natural writer-- from taglines and content to blogging and fiction. In addition to her full time gig shepherding two heritage snowboard brands in the Pacific Northwest, Vicki is often called upon to contribute pieces for publications in the action and outdoor sports community, and has developed a freelance business providing brand strategy, writing and editing services, as well as curating powerful resumes and online profiles for colleagues across her corporate network. Most recently she launched realestateloveletters.com, a service dedicated to putting potential homeowners' intentions into heartfelt letters in competitive housing markets.
